Multiple logins for the same user

Multiple logins can be created for a user.

For example, creating multiple logins for the same vendor.

That way, each login can have its own login and all logins will be consolidated under one primary user.

This will allow knowing exactly which user downloaded (or uploaded) the file, or who performed different actions.

To create multiple logins for one existing primary user, first, create the additional users by following steps 1-6:

Then, link each new user to the existing primary user:

Next, add the required role group to each login.

For example,

To grant access to the connected users, send them a recovery mail so they can setup their passwords.

The login’s individual name will be displayed when performing various actions:

When a user has multiple logins, a Logins button will be added to his Resource info page.

By clicking it, all linked Resources will be displayed.

This button is only displayed when checking other users’ Resource info pages.

This means that if you have multiple logins and you check your own Resource info page, you will not have the Logins button.

Note: When using this feature, before creating the multiple logins for a user, we strongly recommend activating Require unique emails.

That way each login will be able to recover their password by email, as well and not only by the username.

This will prevent the logins from using the same email address.
