Added indication of subtitle snapped to shotchange in subtitle (TK-2190)

You can now show if a subtitle is snapped to the shotchange in the subtitle editor.

To do so, go to User configuration > User interface and check the “Show ‘snapped to shot-change’ in the subtitle list” option.

We now have a hotkey to add a remark to a subtitle.

Projects only allowed to open in one tab (TK-3303)

It is no longer possible to open one project in more than one tab.

This will prevent data loss from two sessions open at the same time.

There will now be a dialog informing the user they already have the project open in another tab.

In the Standalone tool, after clicking “Dismiss”, the page will redirect to the Tools dashboard.

Master template added to the timeline in Review Pro (TK-3181)

In ReviewPro, it’s now possible to also see the Master template on the timeline.

Added option to not fix Too long text lines if sub has more than one line (TK-3373)

We have introduced a new checkbox under the “Too long text lines” check.

If the “Split only single lines” checkbox is checked, only subtitles with just one line will be fixed when running the “Too long text lines” check.

Added file labels to timeline in Review tool (TK-3354)

It is now possible to see the file labels on the timeline in the Review tool.

To do so, you need to click the “Show project labels” button that is on the timeline.

Added option to import from Order files into the Master template column (TK-3254)

In the Review tool, it is now possible to import from Order files directly into the Master template column, when using the integration of OOONA Toolkit with OOONA Manager.

Fixed box applied to EBU-TT export (TK-3370)

It is now possible to export the fixed box according to your own criteria with the EBU-TT file format.

Once selecting the EBU-TT file format in the Export dialog, under the TTML Settings tab, you will be able to choose if you want to export all subtitles with a box and you can add the line padding you need for that specific export

Added option to distribute screen lines evenly (TK-3405)

We now have the option to distribute screen lines evenly, under the Screen tab in Project settings.

When this option is checked, the subtitles will be positioned vertically by screen lines and will ignore both font size and line spacing.

Added voice information in Audio Description tool when available (TK-3258)

We now show metadata information about the voices available in the Audio Description tool when available.

Optional subtitle ID added to IMSC1.1 exports (TK-3500)

We have added a checkbox to the IMSC1.1 exporters to allow exporting Subtitle ID.

The checkbox is under the “TTML Settings” tab in the exporter and is called “Write subtitle numbers”.

Added font 1/2 export filter (TK-3507)

We have added another option to the filters available for export: “Font export filter”.

It’s now possible to export font 1 and font 2 separately or both at the same time.

Please note the default remains “All fonts”.
