New features and improvements

Help would not be complete without its own bot. 🤖
A Claude-powered AI assistant built on AWS Bedrock has been integrated in OOONA's Toolkit to help with technical support, file recovery and backup access, hotkey guidance, unit conversion as well as translation, explanation and paraphrasing tasks.
🔒 No data retention policy: Your content is never stored or used for training. What happens in the Toolkit, stays in the Toolkit.

We’ve added two hotkeys that will work in Closed Captions mode.

  1. Chain to previous subtitle - Using this hotkey will chain the active subtitle to the previous subtitle.

  2. Detach from previous subtitle - Using this hotkey will detach the active chained subtitle from the previous subtitle.

  1. In the ReviewPro tool, we have added the option to compare master and target:

This allows you to compare selected changed between the Master template and the Target column:

  1. Added the ability to overlay the master column’s attributes onto the target column via Review > Overlay attributes.

When importing an Excel file, we have now added support for text formatting, namely:

  • Bold text

  • Text color

  • Fixed "Ignore all uppercase" check - Should ignore numbers as well (TK-3841)

  • Fixed PAC exported from an 8-line project would not recalculate lines to 11 (TK-3776)

  • Fixed Replace all sends you back to the beginning of the file (TK-3825)

  • Fixed hotkeys schema failing to import (TK-3928)

  • Fixed Unable to disable color codes in EBU STL when Teletext1 is used (TK-3929)

  • Fixed shot change snap area not flagging (TK-3914)

  • Fixed issue importing .docx files (TK-3925)
