Previous task field

Previous task field

The Previous task field determines which task or tasks must be completed for a current task to be indicated as ready.

The resource assigned to the task can only start working on their task when it’s indicated as ready, meaning the Previous task/s has been completed. Only then will all required assets and OOONA tool (in integrated systems), necessary to complete the task be available for the resource within the order.

The default Previous task is “Flow” meaning that only the actual previous task must be completed for the task to be indicated as ready.

The default “Flow” can be changed by selecting in the “Previous task” field any other task/s that is positioned before the current task in the order’s workflow.

In “My tasks” page and in other pages, this column will indicate if previous task/s has been completed, meaning the current task is ready to be started:

Multiple Previous tasks selection

To select multiple previous tasks for a current task, click the Previous task field and select the required tasks:

In the following example, for the “Final QC” task to be indicated as ready for the assigned resource, both QC and Final Proxy received tasks must be completed, it’s not enough that only the actual previous task will be completed:

Previous task/s should be set on the Workflow template level so that all orders created from this workflow template will be created with the required setup
