Setting up Order templates
To enable this feature in the system, follow the below steps:

This functionality requires being enabled at the system level. This can be done from Administrator>web Administrator>configuration>Settings>Enable template orders.

To use specific orders as an order template, toggle the switch “Use as template” in the order

that should serve as the base to be copied in the Additional information tab of the Order info page.

Using an Order template
While creating a new order, when prompt to choose a templatein the template selection popup, click the “Order template selection” tab and pick the Order template to use for the new order you wish to copy from.
Note that this tab will not be available if the system setting wasn’t turned onenabled.

Once an Order template was picked, the retain screen popup will allow give the option to copy certain parameters from the Template orderOrder template, much like when copying an order.

The list of Order templates available to choose from is filtered to match the properties of the order you are tying to create.
For example, if an Order template has Source language English, and you’re attempting to create an order from Source language Arabic, the Order template with English source language will not be shown in the list of available Order templates.
Same logic applies to the rest of the order properties:

consolidated
source language
target language
order type
When no Order templates are available to copy from, the system will display the below notification:

but the new order is created with Hebrew first, and Russian second.

Despite that, the system will notify that the original order’s structure will be retain, meaning Russian first.

Only orders templates that match the new order’s consolidated account, customer, source and target language(s) and order type will be available as options. Additionally, the target languages will be structured the same way, to ensure the work flows are originally expected. |
