What are Interval dates?
Interval dates are delivery dates with equal gaps between them, for example, delivering an episode a task/order every day, 5 episodes a day, an episode every 2 days, once a week, etc…In the following example, I will set
The purpose of this tool is to facilitate entering interval Order or Task dates into multiple orders.
The following example shows setting interval deliveries of one episode a day, starting from May 2nd.

Start by switching to the “Multi-cell pick” editing mode

Select the cells you want to update in the column in one of the following ways:
Select the whole column by clicking the equivalent “Multi-cell pick” icon in the column’s header (fig 1)
Select specific cells by dragging over them with ctrl clicked
Cherry-pick specific cells with ctrl clicked
Once the required cells are selected (fig 2)

Set up the date interval:
Enter the delivery date of the first order in the “Update date” field (fig 1)

Scheduling Interval dates with “Paste”

Set the required gap, in days or in weeks, between the delivery dates (fig 3)
Set the number of orders / tasks that will be assigned for each interval (delivery date)
For example: Assign 2 tasks (fig 4) every 2 days (fig 3)Switch on “Skip over weekends” if you want to refrain from setting delivery dates to weekend days (fig 5)
Select the sequence of the update: from the top cell to bottom or from the bottom cell to top (fig 6)
Click “Save and close” to set the dates (fig 7)

If you switch off “Skip over weekends”, weekend days will be marked with blue and purple borders after the dates will be entered to differentiate them from week days |

Enter the delivery date of the first order in the “Update date” field (fig 1)
Click The Gear button to set up the interval (fig 2)

The dates can be applied either by double-clicking the required date field or by clicking the “Paste” button of the date field.
This would paste the date that is displayed in the “Update date” field.

Double-click the required date field to paste the date visible in the “Update date“ field.
Click the “Paste” button of the date field (clipboard icon), to paste the date visible in the “Update date“ field
As you continue pasting into the date fields, the dates will be pasted according to the interval you set.
The “Update date” field will display the next date that is about to be pasted.

Orders/tasks will not be scheduled on weekend days
Weekends will be skipped when pasting the dates

The result when “Skip over weekends” is Off
Orders/tasks will be scheduled on weekend days
Weekend days will have a purple frame to differentiate them from weekdays

Date frame colors
When “Skip over weekends” is off, you can still set delivery dates to weekend days but colorful frames will be added to the date field to let you know that you scheduled delivery date on a weekend or a holiday.
