Actions that can kick users out

The OOONA Manager platform can and will kick users out in given conditions. For example, when opening multiple tabs or impersonating other users with other tabs open with your own user logged in.

When this happens, the following notification is displayed before the user is logged out.

Logging in from different browsers or computers

Using the same user login to access the OOONA Manager from different browsers or computers will result in your user being logged out.

When there’s an active session in a browser or computer, be sure to log out before opening a new browser or computer and logging in with the same user. If not, the previous session will be logged out automatically.

When logging in for the first time, make sure you have no other tabs with your user logged in.

Opening multiple tabs

When there’s a need to work with multiple tabs or open multiple pages at the same time, duplicate the current tab or open the link to the new page in a new tab to avoid being kicked out of the system.

If you open a new tab and log in again, the OOONA Manager will log you out of the first session you had open.

To duplicate the current tab, right click it and choose “Duplicate”:

To open the link of the new page in a new tab, right click on top of the page you wish to open and choose “Open link in a new tab”:

Impersonating other user

Before impersonating another user, be sure to close all tabs with your current user to avoid being kicked out of the OOONA Manager.

When impersonating another user, if you have tabs open with your user logged in as well, the system will treat this as two users logged in from the same computer, kicking one of them out.
