Overview
The Make available feature allows a file to be made available in multiple orders after the original upload.
Making a file available
From My menu > Centralized file download, click the “Make file available” icon.
Only users with the Centralized file download – Make available role will be able to see the “Make File Available” column under My menu > Centralized file download.
Only users with the Centralized file download – Make available for other customers role will be able to share a file amongst different customers.
Select the orders to add the file to by clicking on the “Make file available” column.
In the following example, the file was added to two orders.
If the file made available matches the file type required for a task, it will become ready to be completed, however, please note that this method does not trigger task completion.
The “Upload method” field in the Order files page will be shown as “Make available”
Uploading new versions of files made available
If a file was made available in multiple orders and a new version is uploaded, the file version will be updated in all orders it is connected to. A popup will specify which orders will be affected:
