Basic Text Input and Editing

To add a new subtitle, the default hotkey is Enter.
If your cursor is on a subtitle of one line, move your cursor at the end of that line and press Enter twice.
Subtitle of two lines: place your cursor at the end of the second line and press Enter once.

You can also add a new subtitle by clicking on the Plus button in the toolbar:

If you need to break a line, you can do so by positioning your cursor where you want the line to be broken and clicking Enter.
If you want to change your timing, you can do so by selecting the subtitle whose timing needs to be changed and follow the steps to insert the in/out time of the subtitle.
Conversely, this can also be done directly on the timeline by dragging the boundaries of the subtitle box.

To clear the timing, use Clear TC hotkey or use a menu item (Timecodes > Clear timecodes) This menu also allows you clear timing in a selected range of subtitles.
To delete a subtitle, use the hotkey or click on the button in the toolbar.
