User task completion notifications

Overview

It’s possible to set up task completion notifications at a resource level, allowing a user to receive automatic notifications within the criteria chosen.

This feature can be found in the user’s profile, but basic users have no access to it.

This article is dedicated to the notifications set at the resource level.

For the system-wide notifications, please check the System notifications article.

Creating notifications

At the bottom of the user information window, click on “Notifications”.

In this page we can see existing completion notifications created for this resource and set up new ones.

Click on “Create Notification” to add a new one.

Under “Creation affiliation”, we can choose which orders will be affected.

Under “Notification conditions” we can choose what action triggers the notification.

Multiple conditions can also be set.

Please hover your mouse over the conditions for a more detailed explanation of each item.

Those notifications will only be sent if the user didn’t already receive one for the same task, so using this feature won’t cause duplicates.

Example

With this example, the user will receive a notification when the last task in orders of the Friends series is completed.
